New Technology and Mental Health Symposium

The Canada-UAE Business Council is pleased to support the New Technology and Mental Health Symposium, to be held on March 18-19, 2022 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The symposium is chaired by UAE University Professor Emmanuel Stip and co-chaired by SEHA Group Education Director and CUBC Canada-UAE Healthcare Working Group Member, Dr. Ghanem Al Hassani.

This hybrid two-day event will discuss cutting edge technologies in the field of mental health. The conference aims to gather renowned neuroscience clinical and technology experts from the region and international institutes to share knowledge and the latest updates in the field of mental health. It will provide the space for local startups, professionals, researchers, and scientists to learn, interact and share information with the experts.

The first day of the conference will include expert-led plenary sessions by leaders in neuroscience and technology that is focusing on mental health, new brain stimulation, artificial intelligence and virtual reality. The conference will then emphasize different strategies in mental health, smart phone technology, societal impact and latest breakthroughs in this field.
