Alberta and the UAE Deepen Economic Cooperation at ADIPEC

The Canada-UAE Business Council (CUBC), in collaboration with ADNOC Group, the Government of Alberta, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Economy & Tourism, convened a high-level private-sector roundtable in Abu Dhabi during the ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference 2025.

The session featured the Honourable Danielle Smith, Premier of Alberta; His Excellency Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism; the Honourable Joseph Schow, Alberta’s Minister of Jobs, Economy, Trade and Immigration; and His Excellency Kris Panday, Ambassador of Canada to the UAE.

Led by Mr. Musabbeh Al Kaabi, CEO of Upstream at ADNOC and Co-Chair of the CUBC, the discussion brought together senior leaders from the energy, infrastructure, and financial sectors to explore strategic opportunities for collaboration aimed at driving investment, strengthening trade partnerships, and diversifying economic engagement.
