Canada-UAE Business Council Holds Board Meeting with Minister of International Trade

The Canada-UAE Business Council (CUBC) convened its Board of Directors meeting in Calgary, bringing together Canadian and Emirati business leaders for a strategic dialogue on the future of bilateral economic cooperation.

The Hon. Maninder Sidhu, Canada’s Minister of International Trade, and H.E. Abdulrahman Alneyadi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Canada, joined Council members to discuss advancing shared priorities in energy, infrastructure, food security, and advanced technologies.

Under the leadership of CUBC Co-Chairs Musabbeh Al Kaabi, CEO, Upstream at ADNOC Group, and the Hon. Jean Charest, Partner at Therrien Couture Joli-Coeur, the Board reaffirmed its commitment to enabling cross-border investment, strengthening public-private collaboration, and positioning Canada and the UAE as long-term strategic partners in global trade and sustainable development.
