Governance of Emerging Technologies Summit (GETS 2025)

The Canada-UAE Business Council is proud to be an Association Partner of the Governance of Emerging Technologies Summit (GETS 2025), taking place 5–6 May 2025 at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.

Hosted under the authority of the Advanced Technology Research Council and in strategic partnership with the United Arab Emirates Public Prosecution, GETS 2025 will convene over 500 global leaders - including policymakers, industry leaders, academics, startups, and youth voices - to shape the future of technology governance across sectors including justice, healthcare, finance, and the creative industries.

With AI expected to contribute $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030 and quantum computing poised to unlock $1.3 trillion by 2035, this summit arrives at a critical moment for thoughtful, cross-sector governance.
